We're not using XCode just clang with make.GTK+3 (using C-language API and installed by Homebrew).However, as the suggestive idea that the issue is beyond just our application, we've noted that the gtk-based, Glade designer (3.40.0) also has the described problems: We've checked the ui-files (we're using GtkBuilder for creating graphical interfaces) but we can't find any clue.
